Recipients may accurately refer to the published award category and year. Use of official CannaVerdict logos, seals or design files requires permission or compliance with published brand guidelines.
1. CannaVerdict materials
Unless otherwise indicated, original website text, editorial descriptions, category descriptions, visual layout, graphics, methodology language, award designs, logos, badges, social graphics, databases and other CannaVerdict materials are protected by copyright, trademark, design, database, unfair-competition and related laws.
2. No implied licence
Access to the website does not grant a licence to reproduce, distribute, modify, commercialise, sublicense, scrape or republish protected content except where permitted by mandatory law or express written permission.
3. Third-party names, logos and imagery
Winner names, company names, product names, logos, photographs and social-media identities belong to their respective owners. Their use on CannaVerdict is for editorial identification, reporting of award results and linking to official destinations. Such use does not transfer ownership or imply that CannaVerdict controls the third-party brand.
4. Accurate winner references
Recipients may truthfully refer to the exact award category and year published by CannaVerdict. References must not imply that the award applies to unrelated products, later years, additional categories, regulatory compliance, therapeutic efficacy or a broader commercial endorsement.
5. Badges, seals and logo files
Official CannaVerdict badges, seals, logos and promotional files may be used only under written permission or published brand guidelines. Assets must not be distorted, recoloured, recreated, combined with other marks or presented in a misleading context.
6. Screenshots and social sharing
Reasonable screenshots or social sharing may be permitted for factual reporting, commentary or promotion of a genuine published award, provided the context is accurate, attribution is clear and the material is not used to imply a broader licence or endorsement.
7. Citation, quotation and linking
Reasonable quotation and linking may be permitted where lawful, provided the source is clearly attributed, the quotation is proportionate and the use does not reproduce a substantial part of the website or create confusion about affiliation.
8. Commercial republication
Commercial republication, resale, syndication, white-labelling or substantial reuse of editorial text, category structures or winner data requires written permission unless another legal basis clearly applies.
9. Automated extraction and datasets
Automated extraction, systematic copying or reuse of substantial parts of the winner database, category structure or editorial descriptions may infringe intellectual-property or database rights and is prohibited unless authorised or legally permitted.
10. Reservations concerning artificial-intelligence training
To the extent permitted by applicable law, CannaVerdict reserves rights against unauthorised reproduction or systematic extraction of protected content for commercial model training, dataset creation or comparable machine-processing purposes.
11. Infringement and takedown notices
A rights holder who believes content infringes copyright, trademark, personality or other rights may contact info@cannaverdict.com. The notice should identify the protected work or right, the disputed URL, the basis of the claim, the requesting party’s authority and reliable contact details.
CannaVerdict may request further evidence, temporarily restrict access while reviewing a claim, correct attribution or remove content where appropriate.
12. No waiver
Failure to enforce a right in one instance does not waive that right in another instance.
